You Can Excel was slow to begin.  Dyna Irminus, Demon Bale, Empire Entourage and Dodge The Storm collided soon after the start.  Dream Dazzler and Eren Bale collided soon after the start.  Dream Dazzler checked off Eren Bale on the first turn and collided with Moore Of Darcy checking Moore Of Darcy.  Dyna Irminus and Empire Entourage collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dodge The Storm veered out approaching the second turn and collided with Dyna Irminus, checking Dyna Irminus and Empire Entourage.  Dodge The Storm veered out and marred Empire Entourage on the second turn and again entering the back straight, severely checking Empire Entourage and causing both greyhounds to not take any further part in the event.  You Can Excel checked off Dream Dazzler entering the back straight.  Dream Dazzler and Moore Of Darcy collided on the home turn checking Moore Of Darcy, You Can Excel and Dyna Irminus.  Moore Of Darcy and You Can Excel collided approaching the winning post.

Empire Entourage was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Dodge The Storm was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left fore leg, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr D. Batten,Trainer of Dodge The Storm.  Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Dodge The Storm with marring.  Mr Batten pleaded not guilty to the charge, Dodge The Storm was found guilty and suspended for 3 months, All Tracks, and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Eren Bale, the winner of the event.

Destini Soprano and Gee Joon collided approaching the first turn.  Toshulan checked off Gee Joon approaching the first turn checking Destini Wildfire and Dyna Maddie.  Gee Joon and Toshulan collided on the first turn checking Toshulan.  Destini Wildfire and Dyna Maddie collided on the first turn checking Dyna Maddie.  Destini Wildfire checked off Toshulan on the third turn.  Gee Joon checked off Starlight Lucy on the third turn.  Dyna Maddie was held up for a clear run on the home turn.  Gee Joon checked off Starlight Lucy in the home straight.

Coalville Tiger and Same Day were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Same Day.  Dr. Toretto, Aeroplane Bob and Flip collided on the first turn checking Aeroplane Bob and Flip.  Captain Tuttle and Coalville Tiger collided on the second turn checking Captain Tuttle, Coalville Tiger and Same Day.  Captain Tuttle checked off Coalville Tiger in the back straight checking Same Day. Coalville Tiger checked off Flip on the third turn checking Captain Tuttle. 

Captain Tuttle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Alpha Aphrodite was slow to begin.  Betty Baker and Mepunga Rosie collided approaching the first turn.  Headline and Quizzical collided on the first turn checking What's Up Herbie.  Headline and Quizzical collided on the second turn checking Quizzical.  Quizzical checked off Headline in the back straight.  Mepunga Rosie and Quizzical collided on the third turn checking Quizzical.  Headline and Mepunga Rosie collided entering the home straight.

Greysynd Emma collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn causing Greysynd Emma to stumble.  Moreira, Zipping Eastwood and Blown Away collided on the first turn checking Zipping Eastwood and Blown Away.  Chrichton Bale, Tambay Bale, Ernest Bale and Snooky collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds, causing Ernest Bale and Snooky to race wide as a result.  Greysynd Emma checked off Zipping Eastwood in the front straight checking Blown Away.  Chrichton Bale galloped on the heels of Blown Away on the second turn checking Tambay Bale and Blown Away, severely checking Chrichton Bale and Ernest Bale. Greysynd Emma and Zipping Eastwood collided approaching the home turn.  Zipping Eastwood checked off Greysynd Emma on the home turn.

Midnight  Flynn and Zipping Kane collided soon after the start.  Tollbar checked off Berzerk approaching the first turn checking Both Sides Now.  Dyna Jonah, Tollbar, Both Sides Now and Zipping Kane collided on the first turn checking Tollbar, Zipping Kane, Both Sides Now, Midnight Flynn and Zanpa Bale.  Both Sides Now and Midnight Flynn collided on the second turn.  Zanpa Bale, Midnight Flynn and Both Sides Now collided entering the back straight checking Both Sides Now and Midnight Flynn.  Tollbar and Zipping Kane collided on the third turn.

Quasi Bale was slow to begin.  Mepunga Treasure and Benzo Bale collided soon after the start.  White Bandit and Ima Fairytale collided approaching the first turn.  Benzo Bale galloped on the heels of Mepunga Treasure on the first turn checking Benzo Bale, severely checking Mepunga Treasure which fell as a result.  Hard Bargain and Sweet Barbados collided on the third turn.  Quasi Bale and Sweet Barbados collided on the home turn. Hard Bargain and White Bandit collided entering the home straight checking Hard Bargain.  

Mepunga Treasure was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Benzo Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left hind, no stand down period was imposed.  

Stewards spoke to Representative of Benzo Bale, Mr G. Dailly, regarding the direction that Benzo Bale be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

A sample was taken from Ima Fairytale, the winner of the event.

Dr. Samson, Brown Bomber and Enchanted Bling collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  He's Ma Bro and Enchanted Bling collided approaching the first turn.  Jayco Bale and Enchanted Bling collided on the first turn checking Enchanted Bling and Tricky Mover.  Dr. Samson checked off Jayco Bale on the first turn.  Brown Bomber checked off She's Ayce entering the front straight checking Dr. Samson.  Brown Bomber checked off She's Ayce on the second turn.  She's Ayce faltered on the fourth turn.  Jayco Bale and Tricky Mover collided in the home straight.

She's Ayce was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 11.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hind hock, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Brown Bomber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Zulu Retreat was slow to begin.  Fizzy Bale crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Andrej's.  Snakebite Bale and Cashin' In collided soon after the start checking Eaton Bale.  Snakebite Bale, Cashin' In and Cheeky Hand collided approaching the first turn.  Snakebite Bale and Cashin' In collided approaching the first turn.  Snakebite Bale and Cashin' In collided on the first turn checking Cashin' In, Gully Raider, Andrej's and Zulu Retreat causing Zulu Retreat to race wide.  Snakebite Bale, Gully Raider and Andrej's collided on the second turn checking Gully Raider and Andrej's.  Andrej's raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Maximum Mak, Dr. Klaas and Solo collided soon after the start.  Solo, Smokem Jimmy, Dream Edition and Apatchy Racer collided soon after the start checking Solo, Smokem Jimmy and Dream Edition.  Dr. Klaas, Solo and Dream Edition collided on the first turn.  Dr. Klaas and Solo collided approaching the second turn checking Dr. Klaas.  Solo checked off Dream Edition on the third turn.  Apatchy Racer and Tankster collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Maximum Mak, Dr. Klaas and Smokem Jimmy collided entering the home straight checking Dr. Klaas and Smokem Jimmy.
