Ice Razor and Zieva were quick to begin. Outlaw Clyde, Roarsome and Milwalcar were slow to begin. Ice Razor and Zieva collided approaching the first turn. Outlaw Clyde and Ice Razor collided on the first turn checking Outlaw Clyde. Olive's Choice galloped on the heels of Milwalcar on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Ice Razor and Roarsome collided on the home turn.
