No Reply was quick to begin. She's Got Grace was slow to begin. No Reply, Faithful Hill and Maggy's Impact collided approaching the first turn, causing Faithful Hill to contact the running rail. Faithful Hill and Maggy's Impact collided on the first turn. Faithful Hill checked off No Reply on the home turn. Maggy's Impact and She's Got Grace collided on the home turn. Faithful Hill was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lektra Damage and Happy Camper were quick to begin. Lektra Flyer, Rangler Bale and Sugar McGundy were slow to begin. Heineken Boy was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Lektra Flyer galloped on the heels of Duporth Avenue approaching the first turn, checking Duporth Avenue. Happy Camper and Blown Turbo collided on the first turn, severely checking Blown Turbo. Duporth Avenue and Lektra Flyer collided on the first turn checking Lektra Flyer. Sugar McGundy checked off Happy Camper on the home turn, checking Sugar McGundy.

Ice Razor and Zieva were quick to begin. Outlaw Clyde, Roarsome and Milwalcar were slow to begin. Ice Razor and Zieva collided approaching the first turn. Outlaw Clyde and Ice Razor collided on the first turn checking Outlaw Clyde. Olive's Choice galloped on the heels of Milwalcar on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Ice Razor and Roarsome collided on the home turn.

Olive's Choice was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Milwalcar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right hind toe. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Darmanin, the trainer of Not Broken regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Not Broken last raced on 26 August 2015. Mr. Darmanin stated that the greyhound has been recovering from a left fibula injury.

Bush Courage and Tankster were quick to begin. Remote Control and Next Grange collided soon after the start. Impact Bale and Next Grange collided approaching the first turn, checking Impact Bale. Not Broken, Bush Courage and Tankster collided on the first turn. Bush Courage checked off Tankster on the home turn. Not Broken checked off Bush Courage on the home turn.

Maverick Flash was quick to begin. Destini Lass, Miss Gracie and Marodo were slow to begin. Gold Cup and Destini Lass collided soon after the start. Maverick Flash, Miss Gracie, Gallo Allen and Marodo collided on the first turn, severely checking Maverick Flash. Gold Cup raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Miss Gracie and Dyna Zeek collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Ms L. Courts, the trainer of Elite Lucy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Elite Lucy last raced on 23 July 2015. Ms. Courts stated that the greyhound has recovered from a hip injury and a seasonal condition.

Ms L. Courts, trainer of Elite Lucy declared a new weight of 29.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Elite Lucy last raced at 28.4kg.

Suzy Nitro was quick to begin.  Allen Jeer and Suzy Nitro collided approaching the first turn checking Suzy Nitro. Blue Boy and Flash Deeds collided on the first turn. Suspicious Cal stayed in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event.

Suspicious Cal was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer Mr. Lloyd declined to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Lloyd, the trainer of the greyhound Suspicious Cal regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Suspicious Cal with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr M. Lloyd pleaded not guilty to the charge, Suspicious Cal was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lady Lurcher was quick to begin. Pearce was slow to begin. Giroud and Little Arandt collided approaching the first turn, checking Giroud. They Watch and Instant Allen collided approaching the first turn. Giroud and Pearce collided on the first turn, severely checking Pearce. Little Arandt raced wide in the home straight.

Due to a malfunction, incorrect information was initially displayed on the semaphore board. This was rectified to display the correct placings of 6-3-5-2 before the All Clear was given.

Talanjee Stiff and Crackerjack Hano collided approaching the first turn checking Crackerjack Hano. Talanjee Stiff and Argenta collided approaching the first turn checking Talanjee Stiff. Uncool Albert and Kian's Hybrid collided on the first turn. Lil Weezy and Kian's Hybrid collided on the home turn.

Track Curator Mr T. Dempsey advised stewards that the track was deeply harrowed on Wednesday December 2.

Ginger Speed was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kenneling and was Not Cleared to race.
