Miss Morrisset was slow to begin. Reignlee, Verdict and Crazy Jo Jo collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Crazy Jo Jo checked off Verdict on the first turn. Reignlee, Brianna Morgan and Rapana collided approaching the home turn checking Brianna Morgan. Crazy Jo Jo and Verdict collided on the home turn. Brianna Morgan raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry to obtain further evidence regarding the greyhound Paula's Delight failing to have a catcher.
