Steward's Report
No Shadow Kick was quick to begin. Corleone King was slow to begin. No Shadow Kick, Eat My Shorts and Queen Yuna collided on the first turn checking Queen Yuna and Heracles and severely checking Eat My Shorts. No Shadow Kick raced wide on the home turn. Queen Yuna eased in the home straight. Sisco Mama raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Rigg, the handler of the greyhound Queen Yuna regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Queen Yuna was vetted and re-vetted following race 6. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and left back muscle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Queen Yuna with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Rigg pleaded guilty to the charge, Queen Yuna was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
