Cyclone Jebrynah was quick to begin. Jesse's Typhoon and Remember Jess were slow to begin. Remember Jess checked off Avon Glory approaching the first turn. Jesse's Typhoon and Remember Jess collided on the first turn checking Jesse's Typhoon and Goodnight Irene. Avon Glory and Legal collided on the first turn checking Legal. Remember Jess and Legal collided on the first turn checking Remember Jess. Remember Jess and Goodnight Irene collided approaching the home turn checking Goodnight Irene. Cyclone Jebrynah faltered in the home straight.
Cyclone Jebrynah was vetted and after being re vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound showed visual signs of cramp. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Agius, the trainer of the greyhound Cyclone Jebrynah. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
