Boo Star was a late scratching at 9:16 am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre race sample was taken from Mister Heeney.
Tambo Flash and Megellas Fairy were quick to begin. Zipping Tina and Mister Heeney were slow to begin. Tambo Flash and Cougar Stealth collided on the first turn checking Cougar Stealth. Cougar Stealth and Omega Bonner collided on the first turn checking Cougar Stealth.
