Steward's Report
Flywheel Sprite and Catalan Flyer were quick to begin. Our Jess, Urban Street and Woofenden were slow to begin. Lonesome Dude and Our Jess collided approaching the first turn checking Our Jess. Sharnica crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Aston Tulloch and Lonesome Dude. Flywheel Sprite, Catalan Flyer and Urban Street collided on the first turn checking Catalan Flyer. Aston Tulloch galloped on Catalqan Flyer on the first turn checking Aston Tulloch, Woofenden and Our Jess and causing Catalan Flyer to fall. Flywheel Sprite and Sharnica collided approaching the home turn. Lonesome Dude raced wide on the home turn.
Catalan Flyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to the handler Mrs. M. Sonneman, regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Sharnica. Stewards directed that Sharnica be boxed first in future events.
Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr. S. Bye regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Flywheel Sprite. Stewards directed that Flywheel Sprite be boxed first in future events.
