Rhyan's Return checked off Serendipitous approaching the home turn.  Zelemar Cocoa and Coolgirl Miss collided approaching the home turn checking Zelemar Cocoa.  Zelemar Cocoa checked off Coolgirl Miss on the home turn.  Adala Son raced wide on the home turn.  Zelemar Cocoa veered out and marred Coolgirl Miss approaching the winning post checking Coolgirl Miss and Artistic Alyssa.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Jennings, the trainer of the greyhound Zelemar Cocoa regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Zelemar Cocoa with marring. Mr. Jennings pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Zelemar Cocoa was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Black Market was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the right triangle muscle and right side of neck, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Martinovic, the representative of the greyhound Black Market regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Black Market with marring. Mr. Martinovic pleaded guilty to the charge.  Black Market was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kev's Choice was a late scratching at 5:00pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness (Elevated Temperature).  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Borradale, the trainer of the greyhound Wallet Wizard.  Stewards deemed the performance of Wallet Wizard unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Wallet Wizard must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Megellas Fairy was quick to begin.  Princess Shae, Zabdon Sensation and Cougar Stealth were slow to begin.  Sanz Marlow and Zabdon Sensation collided approaching the first turn checking Sanz Marlow.  Aston Hammer and Spy Miss collided on the first turn.  Princess Shae and Sanz Marlow collided on  the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Zabdon Sensation and Cougar Stealth collided on the first turn checking Zabdon Sensation.  Aston Hammer galloped on Zabdon Sensation on the first turn checking Aston Hammer, Princess Shae and Zabdon Sensation and severely checking Spy Miss.  Sanz Marlow raced wide entering the home straight.  Zabdon Sensation and Spy Miss collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Mr. A. Gieschen, trainer of Tinderella declared a new weight of 30.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Tinderella last raced at 28.7Kgs.

Tuggeragh, Trov's Gem and Nitroniun were slow to begin.  Fairy Vixen and Mint Burst collided approaching the first turn checking Fairy Vixen.  Mint Burst and Cosmic Shiraz collided on the first turn checking Mint Burst. Mint Burst and Trov's Gem collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Tinderella was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have an elevated temperature, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. C. Johannsen regarding the direction that the greyhound Mister Heeney be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Omega Bonner and Tambo Flash were quick to begin.  Labuan Starfish was slow to begin.  Lemon Paw checked off Tambo Flash on the first turn severely checking Hannah Bear and Labuan Starfish.  Jesse's Typhoon crossed in on the first turn severely checking Flabba Gabba.  Hannah Bear and Labuan Starfish collided on the home turn.  Jesse's Typhoon checked off Tambo Flash in the home straight.

Stately Kay was quick to begin.  Lunchmoney Lewis, Angry Alley and Silver Salute were slow to begin.  Lunchmoney Lewis faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off.  Joni Sunset and Cash Ownley collided on the first turn checking Cash Ownley.  Angry Alley checked off Jay Jay Bee on the first turn.  Jay Jay Bee raced wide on the home turn.

Lunchmoney Lewis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left thigh injury and a right back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Chucky Thump trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 24.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was  26:07,  the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Chucky Thump was Not Cleared.
