Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Courts, the trainer of Troy's Verdict regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Troy's Verdict last raced on 25th June 2015. Ms. Courts stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spell to re-educate the greyhound.
Ms. A Courts trainer of Troy's Verdict declared a new weight of 32.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Troy's Verdict last raced at 31.2kgs.
Melos Girlfriend was quick to begin. Tiger Jones, Troy's Verdict and Jack's Alouette collided soon after the start checking Tiger Jones and Troy's Verdict. Darley Dollar checked off Jack's Alouette approaching the first turn. I'm Mad checked off Jack's Alouette on the first turn. Let's Run and Senni Ricky collided on the first turn checking Let's Run. Darley Dollar checked off Let's Run approaching the home turn. Tiger Jones checked off Senni Ricky on the home turn checking Troy's Verdict, Let's Run, Darley Dollar, Tiger Jones and I'm Mad; Let's Run, Darley Dollar, Tiger Jones and I'm Mad raced wide as a result. Troy's Verdict cramped in the home straight. Darley Dollar and Let's Run collided approaching the winning post checking Let's Run and Troy's Verdict.
