Steward's Report
Sterwards spoke to Mr R. Redenbach, trainer of the greyhound Coolan Boy which had not raced since 14 August 2015. Mr Redenbach stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being spelled. Mr Redenbach also declared a new weight of 32.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Coolan Boy last raced at 31.1kg.
Lady Juar was quick to begin. Coolan Boy and King Size Shambi collided soon after the start. Zipping Tank and Royal Cosmic collided approaching the first turn. Royal Cosmic and Lady Juar collided approaching the home turn severely checking Lady Juar which collided with Bombora Flash. Coolan Boy checked off Ivy Lane approaching the home turn. Royal Cosmic raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Bombora Flash raced wide in the home straight.
Lady Juar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left and right groin. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
