Tricky Mover checked off Sweet Intention on the second turn. Tricky Mover checked off Sweet Intention on the home turn. El Chana checked off Rickety Gate in the home straight. Rickety Gate tired over the concluding stages of the event. 

Rickety Gate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left shoulder. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Mum's gem stumbled soon after the start and lost considerable ground. Alouette Magic and Able Chief collided on the first turn. Isabella Cargo checked off Flash Riot on the first turn. Flash Riot and Kilcolegan Cross collided approaching the second turn. Isabella Cargo and Aloette Magic collided approaching the second turn checking Alouette Magic. Flash Riot and Kilcolegan Cross collided on the second turn. Flash Riot eased on the second turn and collided with Kilcolegan Cross severely checking Kilcolegan Cross and both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Mepunga Sammy eased on the second turn. Alouette Magic and Blush Burst collided on the home turn. Blush Burst and Flash Riot collided in the home straight. Alouette Magic, Blush Burst and Flash Riot collided approaching the winning post.

Flash Riot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left triceps. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Kraemer, the trainer of the greyhound Flash Riot regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn and approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Flash Riot with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Kraemer pleaded guilty. Flash Riot was found guilty and the greyhound has been suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Moncrieff, representative of the greyhound Mepunga Sammy regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn.  Mepunga Sammy was vetted .  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left groin, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mepunga Sammy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Moncrieff pleaded guilty to the charge. Mepunga Sammy was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Charlie Pearce was slow to begin. Casanova and All Inn Amy collided on the first turn checking Casanova. Sunday Sipper, Tina Two, All Inn Amy and Charlie Pearce collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Greysynd Chief checked off Apatchy Racer approaching the home turn. Casanova raced wide in the home straight.

Maximum Owie, Keep Warm and Macalister Sam collided soon after the start checking Keep Warm. Maximum Owie and Macalister Sam collided approaching the first turn checking Macalister Sam. Cette For Glory, Bird Special, Maximum Owie and Houdini's Gold collided on the first turn checking Bird Special, Maximum Owie, Houdini's Gold and Infinite Senor. Macalister Sam checked off Houdini's Gold approaching the home turn and raced wide. Bird Special raced wide in the home straight.

Flying Holly faltered on the first turn and tailed off. Brown Bomber, American Monster, Pure Gassed and Secretary Bird collided on the first turn checking Brown Bomber. American Monster checked off Pure Gassed  on the first turn. Pure Gassed and Secretary Bird collided on the home turn and entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Sterwards spoke to Mr R. Redenbach, trainer of the greyhound Coolan Boy which had not raced since 14 August 2015. Mr Redenbach stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being spelled. Mr Redenbach also declared a new weight of 32.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Coolan Boy last raced at 31.1kg.

Lady Juar was quick to begin. Coolan Boy and King Size Shambi collided soon after the start. Zipping Tank and Royal Cosmic collided approaching the first turn. Royal Cosmic and Lady Juar collided approaching the home turn severely checking Lady Juar which collided with Bombora Flash. Coolan Boy checked off Ivy Lane approaching the home turn. Royal Cosmic raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Bombora Flash raced wide in the home straight. 

Lady Juar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left and right groin. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Smiley Sam and Triple Lindy collided soon after the start checking Smiley Sam. Smiley Sam, Cosmic Lady, Jindara and Handsome Cosmo collided approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Lady. Handsome Cosmo checked off Jindara on the first turn. Triple Lindy and Red Light Runner collided approaching the home turn checking Red Light Runner. Jindara and Red Light Runner collided approaching the home turn severely checking Handsome Cosmo, checking Smiley Sam and severely checking Red Light Runner and Cosmic Lady which fell as a result. Triple Lindy checked off Red Light Runner on the home turn. Triple Lindy and Hot And Lonesome collided approaching the winning post.

Cosmic Lady was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right gluteal muscle and right triangle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Red Light Runner was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left shoulder and a cout to the left stopper. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Urban Cargo and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 4:42pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms. C. Roberts was fined the sum of $100.

All Inn Rum was quick to begin. Shifty Jack was slow to begin. Remote Control and Lektra Khan collided soon after the start checking Remote Control. Lektra Khan and Fawn Persuit collided on the first turn. Shifty Jack, Fawn Pursuit and Lektra Khan collided approaching the home turn checking Shifty Jack and severely checking Fawn Pursuit and Lektra Khan.
