Steward's Report
Belena Jake was quick to begin. Flaming Bob was slow to begin. Lee I Am, Junner Bale and Lucia Rossa collided soon after the start, checking Junner Bale. Makaman and Shattered Ice collided on the first turn. Makaman checked off Shattered Ice approaching the home turn. Lucia Rossa marred the running of Rich Azz View entering the home straight.
Lucia Rossa was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr J.Formosa, the trainer of the greyhound Lucia Rossa regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Lucia Rossa with marring. Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Lucia Rossa was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
