Steward's Report
Suzy Nitro, Lady Lurcher, Miss Georgia May, Lektra Starsky, Bob On and Ima Tornado collided soon after the start, checking Lady Lurcher, Miss Georgia May, Lektra Starsky, severely checking Suzy Nitro and Ima Tornado which tailed off. Miss Georgia May, Lady Lurcher and Lektra Starsky collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking Lektra Starsky. Suzy Nitro raced wide in the home straight.
Ima Tornado was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Bob On was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr C.Farrugia, the trainer of the greyhound Bob On. Stewards deemed the performance of Bob On unsatisfactory in this event in the home straight and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Bob On must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
