Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr D Chapman, trainer of the greyhound Ultimate Jet in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races. Ultimate Jet last raced on the 8th February, 2015. Mr Chapman stated that the greyhound was new to his kennels and had previously been spelling. Stewards noted Mr Chapman's explanation.
A pre race sample was taken from Jet Pack Model.
Groover Groover was quick to begin. Spoil The Party was slow to begin. Arvo's Leo and Ultimate Jet collided soon after the start, checking Ultimate Jet. Jet Pack Model and Lil' Bit Suna collided soon after the start, checking Lil' Bit Suna. Collekki checked off Groover Groover approaching the first turn. Jet Pack Model, Ultimate Jet and Spoil The Party collided on the first turn, checking Ultimate Jet, Spoil The Party, Lil' Bit Suna and severely checking Jet Pack Model. Arvo's Leo checked off Map It Out approaching the home turn. Collekki checked off Map It Out entering the home straight. Groover Groover checked off Map It Out in the home straight. Collekki and Groover Groover collided approaching the winning post.
