Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. K Jordan, the owner of Knight Ice regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Knight Ice last raced on 25the February 2015. Ms. Jordan stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after being on season on two occasions.
Ms. K Jordan, owner of Knight Ice declared a new weight of 30.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Knight Ice last raced at 29.0kgs.
Ms. B King, trainer of Tricky Trey declared a new weight of 31.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tricky Trey last raced at 29.9kgs.
Knight Ice and Love Club were slow to begin. Snow Bomber, Destini Blaze and Kiowa Jones collided soon after the start checking Snow Bomber and Destini Blaze. Spot The Boats and Cheque Her Out collided approaching the first turn checking Spot The Boats. Spot The Boats checked off Tricky Trey approaching the home turn. Knight Ice and Destini Blaze collided on the home turn. Knight Ice, Snow Bomber and Destini Blaze collided in the home straight. Knight Ice, Snow Bomber and Tricky Trey collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
