Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Field, the trainer of Flashing Bessy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Flashing Bessy last raced on 20th June 2015. Mr. Field stated that the greyhound was returning after suffering from a fractured fibula.
Cosmic Lady was quick to begin. Pequeno Rayo, Who's That Chap, Moonlight Cruise and Uncontrollable collided soon after the start checking Pequeno Rayo, Who's That Chap and Moonlight Cruise. Flashing Bessy and Pequeno Rayo collided several times approaching the first turn. Demolition Guy and Velvet Hammer collided approaching the first turn checking Demolition Guy. Flashing Bessy checked off Pequeno Rayo on the first turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Cosmic Lady checked off Uncontrollable approaching the home turn. Demolition Guy, Cosmic Lady, Velvet Hammer and Who's That Chap collided on the home turn checking Demolition Guy, Velvet Hammer, Cosmic Lady, Who's That Chap and Moonlight Cruise; Who's That Chap and Moonlight Cruise raced wide as a result. Uncontrollable raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
