Ms. L. Courts, trainer of Shachar Magic declared a new weight of 31.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Shachar Magic last raced at 30.2kgs.

Mr. B. Hodgson, trainer of Major Larry declared a new weight of 33.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Major Larry last raced at 31.5kgs.

Chief Winslow, Major Larry and Four Four Two were slow to begin.  Major Larry, Lektra Kirky and Hoi Polloi collided soon after the start checking Lektra Kirky.  Lektra Kirky and Hoi Polloi collided approaching the first turn.  Major Larry and Kinloch Creek collided on the first turn checking Kinloch Creek. Kinloch Creek checked off Lektra Kirky entering the home straight.  Lektra Kirky and Kinloch Creek collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. H. Gates regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Four Four Two.  Stewards directed that Four Four Two be boxed first in future events.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Dillon, the trainer of Seabrook Shan regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Seabrook Shan last raced on 15th June 2015.  Mr. Dillon stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell.

Marble Hill and Blonde Boucheau were quick to begin.  Laboomba was slow to begin.  Bekim Nikita checked off Major Dollar soon after the start.  Lara's Gem checked off Kid Rhubarb approaching the first turn.  Bekim Nikita and Blonde Boucheau collided on the first turn checking Blonde Boucheau and Laboomba. Kid Rhubarb clipped the heels of Marble Hill approaching the home turn checking Marble Hill.  Marble Hill and Major Dollar collided on the home turn.  Kid Rhubarb and Bekim Nikita collided on the home turn checking Kid Rhubarb which raced wide as a result.  Lara's Gem and Seabrook Shan collided several times in the home straight.  Major Dollar tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Major Dollar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Good Odds Sammy was quick to begin.  Warriors Code was slow to begin.  Artic Lee, Roll 'Em Dainty and Black Tikka collided soon after the start checking Artic Lee and Roll 'Em Dainty.  Dortmunder, Crackerjack Cam, Artic Lee and Roll 'Em Dainty collided approaching the first turn checking Dortmunder and Roll 'Em Dainty and severely checking Crackerjack Cam and Artic Lee.  Crackerjack Cam and Artic Lee collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Cam and severely checking Artic Lee which stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result.  Dortmunder checked off Archi Willow on the home turn.  Dortmunder and Crackerjack Cam raced wide on the home turn.

Artic Lee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Uno Krypto was quick to begin.  Let Rip Johno was slow to begin.  Carlanna Sharna checked off Uno Krypto soon after the start.  Belena Belle checked off Makaman approaching the first turn checking Bold Caper, Belena Belle and Carlanna Sharna.  Belena Belle and Carlanna Sharna collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Cairnlea Flash and Uno Krypto collided approaching the home turn.  Uno Krypto checked off Cairnela Flash on the home turn checking Uno Krypto and severely checking Roadrunner Thief.  Bold Caper eased in the home straight.

Bold Caper was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. McInnes, the trainer of the greyhound Bold Caper regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Bold Caper with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. McInnes pleaded guilty to the charge.  Bold Caper was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound peform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Field, the trainer of Flashing Bessy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Flashing Bessy last raced on 20th June 2015.  Mr. Field stated that the greyhound was returning after suffering from a fractured fibula.

Cosmic Lady was quick to begin.  Pequeno Rayo, Who's That Chap, Moonlight Cruise and Uncontrollable collided soon after the start checking Pequeno Rayo, Who's That Chap and Moonlight Cruise.  Flashing Bessy and Pequeno Rayo collided several times approaching the first turn.  Demolition Guy and Velvet Hammer collided approaching the first turn checking Demolition Guy.  Flashing Bessy checked off Pequeno Rayo on the first turn and lost considerable ground as a result.  Cosmic Lady checked off Uncontrollable approaching the home turn.  Demolition Guy, Cosmic Lady, Velvet Hammer and Who's That Chap collided on the home turn checking Demolition Guy, Velvet Hammer, Cosmic Lady, Who's That Chap and Moonlight Cruise; Who's That Chap and Moonlight Cruise raced wide as a result.  Uncontrollable raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Flashing Bessy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Who's That Chap was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Merlot Magic, Cullquin Sam and Zipping Noel were slow to begin.  Lily Black and Nuggy Burger collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Lily Black checked off Pentapod on the second turn checking Nuggy Burger.  Lily Black raced wide in he home straight.

Cullquin Sam was vetted following event 11.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left shoulder and left thigh.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Claretown Bart was quick to begin.  Flaming Bob was slow to begin.  Snapper's Mate and Minnie Wipeout collided approaching the first turn checking Minnie Wipeout.  Winfield Sammy and Claretown Bart collided several times approaching the first turn checking Winfield Sammy and severely checking Claretown Bart.  Snapper's Mate and Flaming Bob collided in the home straight.

Major Gold was a late scratching at 11:22am due weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. B. Hodgson was fined the sum of $100.

Yarn Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Bad Bone was a late scratching at 11:48am due weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. R. Gladman was fined the sum of $100.

Ms. M. Hynes, trainer of Snake Woman declared a new weight of 29.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Snake Woman last raced at 27.9kgs.
