An Out Of Competition Sample was taken from Lektra Blanket, engaged in this event, on Thursday 17th September 2015.
Sisco Flyer was slow to begin. Blingsteen checked off Uncool Albert soon after the start. Yarn Bale checked off Ninja Kong soon after the start. Yarn Bale checked off Blingsteen approaching the first turn. Yarn Bale fell on the first turn. Blingsteen checked off Railway Smokey approaching the home turn. Lektra Blanket galloped on the heels Ninja Kong approaching the home turn checking Ninja Kong, Lektra Blanket and Mahogany Diamond. Uncool Albert and Sisco Flyer raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Blingsteen and Mahogany Diamond collided on the home turn. Railway Smokey and Ninja Kong collided entering the home straight and in the home straight checking Ninja Kong. Blingsteen and Lektra Blanket collided approaching the winning post.
Yarn Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
