Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) judge J Loudon did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Wrecking Ralph, Lady Juar and Daphne Allen collided soon after the start, checking Wrecking Ralph. Ultimate Jet, Lady Juar and Daphne Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Lady Juar. Daphne Allen checked off Lulu Noir approaching the first turn. Lulu Noir and Ultimate Jet collided on the first turn. Daphne Allen checked off Lulu Noir on the first turn, checking Lady Juar and severely checking Wrecking Ralph. Lady Juar and Daphne Allen collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Lektra Tily and Bright Eyed Girl approaching the home turn. Daphne Allen veered out and eased on the home turn and collided with Wrecking Ralph, causing Wrecking Ralph to race wide as a result.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S Coulson, the handler of the greyhound Daphne Allen regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Daphne Allen was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left tricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Daphne Allen with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. S Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Daphne Allen was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
