Arolok Hobo was slow to begin.  Sherry Baby and Big Cole collided soon after the start, checking Big Cole.  Sherry Baby checked off Margaret Jean entering the back straight.  Big Cole and Doovalacky collided in the back straight.  Margaret Jean and Arolok Hobo collided approaching the home turn.  Arolok Hobo, Margaret Jean and Big Cole raced wide approaching the winning post.  Margaret Jean and Arolok Hobo collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to representative of Abbie's Dream, Mr. R Fisher, regarding the greyhounds improved performance.  Mr. Fisher stated that the greyhound jumped well and gained a clear run which it had been unable to do in recent starts.  Mr. Fisher also added that the greyhound had received severe interferance in its previous four starts.  Stewards noted Mr. Fisher's explanation and directed that a sample be taken.

Ant Hill Mob and Dark Tantra were slow to begin.  Deadset Jet and Casino Star collided soon after the start, checking Casino Star.  Deadset Jet and Batty Allen collided approaching the first turn.  Deadset Jet, Batty Allen, Uptown Funk and Watsargo Sarge collided on the first turn, checking Deadset Jet, Batty Allen, Uptown Funk, Watsargo Sarge, Dark Tantra and Casino Star.  Casino Star galloped on the heels of Ant Hill Mob approaching the home turn, checking Ant Hill Mob, Uptown Funk and Dark Tantra and causing Casino Star to fall as a result.  Uptown Funk and Dark Tantra collided approaching the home turn.  Batty Allen and Watsargo Sarge collided in the home straight.  Ant Hill Mob raced wide in the home straight.

Casino Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left quadricep, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Run Plebbie Run was a late scratching at 6.01pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to tracheal sensitivity. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Premier Song and Convex collided soon after the start, checking Premier Song.  Lulu Allen and Premier Song collided soon after the start.  Naughty And Nice and Dark Obsession collided soon after the start, checking Dark Obsession.  Lulu Allen checked off Aerial Pursuit approaching the first turn.  Dark Obsession, Lulu Allen and Naughty And Nice collided on the first turn, checking Naughty And Nice.  Lulu Allen and Dark Obsession collided on the first turn. Aerial Pursuit and Convex collided approaching the home turn, checking Convex.

Derby Magic, Blast Away, Ketut's Kaput and Tywin Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Blast Away and Ketut's Kaput.  Saahd checked off Weeping Lass on the first turn, checking Blast Away.  Derby Magic checked off Tywin Bale approaching the home turn.  Saahd checked off Derby Magic in the home straight.

Weeping Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration above the right eye, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the catcher of Tywin Bale after the greyhound collapsed in the catching pen.  Tywin Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was dazed and had an increased respiration rate on track post race.  After being revetted following race 7, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  After taking evidence from witnessing parties, stewards advised Mr. J Collins, the representative of Tywin Bale that the greyhound will be monitored in future events.  

Grand Intention, Cincinnati Lee and Black Beard collided soon after the start.  Morson Senor, Quint Bale and Bush Courage collided soon after the start. Cincinnati Lee checked off Bush Courage approaching the first turn.  King Size Shambi, Morson Senor and Quint Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Morson Senor and Quint Bale.  Quint Bale and Bush Courage collided on the first turn.  Grand Intention checked off Quint Bale approaching the home turn, checking Warrior King.

Big Barking Bert, Optimus Bart, Julie Bale and Xtreme Knocka collided on the first turn, checking Optimus Bart and Julie Bale.  Big Barking Bert and Xtreme Knocka collided several times entering the back straight, checking Big Barking Bert which stumbled as a result.  Punk Star Lass, Big Barking Bert and Xtreme Knocka collided entering the back straight, severely checking Big Barking Bert and Xtreme Knocka.  Ring The Bell and Cogitate collided approaching the home turn.  Optimus Bart eased and collided with Punk Star Lass on the home turn, checking Big Barking Bert.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A Debattista, the trainer of the greyhound Optimus Bart regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Optimus Bart was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left tricep, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Optimus Bart with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Debattista pleaded guilty to the charge, Optimus Bart was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Scrubby Nichols was quick to begin.  Cosmic Daicos, Ernie Old and Eumeralla Donny were slow to begin.  Ernie Old, Blue Rocket and Kibosh collided several times soon after the start, checking Blue Rocket.  Cosmic Daicos, Ernie Old and Blue Rocket collided approaching the first turn, checking Cosmic Daicos.  Ernie Old and Blue Rocket several times approaching the first turn, checking Ernie Old.  Kibosh and Scrubby Nichols collided in the home straight, checking Eumeralla Donny.  Blue Rocket and Kibosh collided in the home straight, checking Kibosh.  Cosmic Daicos raced wide in the home straight.

Ima Legend checked off My Girl Chloe soon after the start.  Allen Icarus, Big Ticket and My Girl Chloe collided approaching the first turn, checking Big Ticket and severely checking Allen Icarus.  Big Ticket and Caustic Bale collided approaching the home turn.  My Girl Chloe and Hawka Tron collided on the home turn and again in the home straight, checking My Girl Chloe.  Allen Icarus and Big Ticket collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Allen Icarus checked off Big Ticket in the home straight.

Wrecking Ralph, Lady Juar and Daphne Allen collided soon after the start, checking Wrecking Ralph.  Ultimate Jet, Lady Juar and Daphne Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Lady Juar.  Daphne Allen checked off Lulu Noir approaching the first turn.  Lulu Noir and Ultimate Jet collided on the first turn.  Daphne Allen checked off Lulu Noir on the first turn, checking Lady Juar and severely checking Wrecking Ralph.  Lady Juar and Daphne Allen collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Lektra Tily and Bright Eyed Girl approaching the home turn.  Daphne Allen veered out and eased on the home turn and collided with Wrecking Ralph, causing Wrecking Ralph to race wide as a result.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S Coulson, the handler of the greyhound Daphne Allen regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Daphne Allen was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left tricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Daphne Allen with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. S Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Daphne Allen was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Junner Bale, Baroness Tiffie, Dynamo's Girl and Ollington collided soon after the start, severely checking Dynamo's Girl.  Ollington and Baroness Tiffie collided approaching the first turn.  Ollington checked off Varix approaching the first turn.  Ollington and Junner Bale collided on the first turn, checking Ollington.  Junner Bale and Varix collided several times approaching the first turn and again entering the back straight.

Dynamo's Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind leg and an injured left tricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mumbles Murray and Bit Hot Finchy were slow to begin.  Mumbles Murray checked off Phaser Bale soon after the start.  All Over and Octagon Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Sloan Ranger and Megan Keeping collided on the first turn, checking Megan Keeping.  Dyna Malaise and All Over collided approaching the home turn, severely checking All Over.  Dyna Malaise and Octagon Girl collided approaching the home turn, checking Octagon Girl.  Bit Hot Finchy checked off Phaser Bale approaching the home turn.  Octagon Girl eased approaching the winning post.

Octagon Girl was vetted after the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Mr. M Tabb declined the offer to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M Tabb, the representative of the greyhound Octagon Girl regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Octagon Girl with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. M Tabb pleaded guilty to the charge, Octagon Girl was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lila's Girl was quick to begin.  White Macoy, Koch and Ravager Bale collided soon after the start, checking Ravager Bale.  Lila's Girl checked off Koch on the first turn.  White Macoy cramped in the home straight.  Koch, Pingu and Ravager Bale collided approaching the winning post checking Koch. .

Koch was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triangles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

White Macoy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound suffered cramping, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M Gibbons, the representative of the greyhound White Macoy.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
