Junner Bale, Baroness Tiffie, Dynamo's Girl and Ollington collided soon after the start, severely checking Dynamo's Girl. Ollington and Baroness Tiffie collided approaching the first turn. Ollington checked off Varix approaching the first turn. Ollington and Junner Bale collided on the first turn, checking Ollington. Junner Bale and Varix collided several times approaching the first turn and again entering the back straight.
Dynamo's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind leg and an injured left tricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
