Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Woodleigh Blue.
Diesel Turbo went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Capel Sound and King Of Diamonds were slow to begin. Woodleigh Blue and Nikita's Blaze collided approaching the first turn checking Woodleigh Blue. Zulu Zoe crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Parisienne, King Of Diamonds and Diesel Turbo. Tucky's Daughter checked off Woodleigh Blue on the first turn causing Tucky's Daughter to contact the running rail. Parisienne and King Of Diamonds collided approaching the second turn severely checking Parisienne. Capel Sound raced wide in the back straight checking Parisienne. Nikita's Blaze contacted the running rail on the third turn checking Diesel Turbo.
Woodleigh Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to its head. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Zulu Zoe, the winner of the event.
