Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Malloy, the trainer of Cheap Object regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Cheap Object last raced on 16th June 2016. Mr. Malloy stated that the greyhound was returning to race after having a spell.
Why Not Will went up with lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Jack Of Meade and Tinaka were slow to begin. Dodger's Beauty stumbled at box rise. Premier Jess raced wide soon after the start checking Mini Dozer and severely checking Dodger's Beauty. Dusty Leads, Jack Of Meade and Cheap Object collided approaching the first turn. Premier Jess contacted the running rail on the first turn. Dusty Leads checked off Premier Jess on the first turn. Tinaka checked off Dusty Leads on the home turn. Dusty Leads and Why Not Will raced wide in the home straight.
