Steward's Report
Tekki Hail was a late scratching at 11:20am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. R. Lesjack was fined the sum of $100.
Tell Me Ma, Jupiter Jones and Bazz Kebab were slow to begin. Don's Collision and Ecnal collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Ecnal and Tell Me Ma; Tell Me Ma raced wide as a result. Fawn Mantra checked off Stretch Limo on the first turn. Tell Me Ma eased in the back straight and subsequently tailed off. Stretch Limo galloped on the heels of Fawn Mantra on the third turn checking Stretch Limo, Fawn Mantra and Jupiter Jones. Fawn Mantra eased on the third turn checking Stretch Limo. Bazz Kebab checked off Jupiter Jones approaching the home turn. Jupiter Jones and Bazz Kebab collided on the home turn.
Tell Me Ma was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer, Mr. J. Carr declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), stewards charged Tell Me Ma with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Carr pleaded guilty to the charge. Tell Me Ma was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
