Sienna's Lilly was a late scratching at 11:12am on the advice the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to its right hamstring. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
What Stopping Ya and Gabrielle Allen were quick to begin. Southwood Max were slow to begin. Teflon Tony and Teflon Travis collided on the first turn. Southwood Max checked off Dyna Peanut on the first turn. Woofa Combo crossed to the rail approaching the second turn checking What Stopping Ya, Gabrielle Allen and Teflon Travis. Teflon Tony and Gabrielle Allen collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Teflon Travis, Dyna Peanut and Southwood Max collided entering the home straight.
