Oshkosh Gypsy checked off Jacey Allen on the second turn checking Victor Dora, Shima Rainbow and Fay Courage.  Oshkosh Gypsy and Fay Courage collided entering the back straight checking Oshkosh Gypsy, Flying Mia, Victor Dora, Shima Rainbow and Betta Bale.  Victor Dora checked off Shima Rainbow on the third turn.  Sisco Sizzle and Jacey Allen collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Victor Dora and Betta Bale collided several times from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight.  Sisco Sizzle and Jacey Allen collided entering the home straight.

Bee Rose and Lebron Slam were quick to begin.  Lebron Slam crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Spring Emperor; Spring Emperor, Blue Murray, Dyna Yatul and Lorenzo Blue were checked as a result.  Bee Rose crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Shima Musket.  Lebron Slam, Chrissy Pee and Bee Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Chrissy Pee.  Bee Rose raced wide approaching the second turn and collided with Lebron Slam and Spring Emperor;  all three greyhounds were severely checked as a result.  Shima Musket and Lorenzo Blue collided on the third turn. Chrissy Pee checked off Shima Musket approaching the home turn.  Spring Emperor checked off Chrissy Pee on the home turn and collided with Lorenzo Blue and Shima Musket; Bee Rose was checked as a result.

Lebron Slam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained swelling to its right thigh and right triangle muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Tedesco was quick to begin.  Lala Shim, City And Colour and Dyna Dalma collided soon after the start.  Rapid Intention and Farmer Brown collided soon after the start.  Rapid Intention, Dyna Dalma, City And Colour and Lala Shim collided on the first turn checking Rapid Intention and City And Colour.  Lala Shim and Dyna Dalma collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Farmer Brown checked off Tedesco on the second turn.  Lala Shim and Weasley Grange collided on the home turn checking Dyna Dalma and Fawntastic Kate and severely checking Weasley Grange.  City And Colour and Fawntastic Kate collided entering the home straight.  Weasley Grange, City And Colour and Fawntastic Kate collided approaching the winning post.

Miss Johannsen was slow to begin.  Barnes Banana checked off Ok Jake on the first turn.  Ok Jake, Locknane Eve and What's Up Trumps collided on the first turn.  Locknane Eve and What's Up Trumps collided approaching the second turn and again entering the back straight.  Crackerjack Sam, Elcee Jay and Miss Johannsen collided in the home straight checking Crackerjack Sam and Elcee Jay.

Stevron Autos was quick to begin.  Foxy Whip, Lektra Rustler and Fetty Wap collided soon after the start.  Lektra Rustler, Fetty Wap, Dewana Express and Two Dollar Pots collided on the first turn checking Dewana Express and severely checking Fetty Wap.  Allen Yobo and Honouring Percy collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Stevron Autos and Allen Yobo collided on the home turn.  Dewana Express and Honouring Percy collided entering the home straight.  Allen Yobo crossed to the rail in the home straight and collided with Stevron Autos.

Fetty Wap was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a superficial laceration to its right hind stifle area.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

What Stopping Ya and Gabrielle Allen were quick to begin.  Southwood Max were slow to begin.  Teflon Tony and Teflon Travis collided on the first turn. Southwood Max checked off Dyna Peanut on the first turn.  Woofa Combo crossed to the rail approaching the second turn checking What Stopping Ya, Gabrielle Allen and Teflon Travis.  Teflon Tony and Gabrielle Allen collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Teflon Travis, Dyna Peanut and Southwood Max collided entering the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Dewan, the trainer of Dewana Lass regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Dewana Lass last raced on 16th January 2016.  Mr. Dewan stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after a suspension, recovering from injury and whelping a litter of pups.  Pursuant to GAR 77A. Dewana Lass trialled over the 525 metre distance from box 1, weight 29.8kgs.  The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 30.42.  The greyhound won by a margin of 4.75 lengths.  Dewana Lass was cleared.

Secretary Bird trialled over the 525 metre distance from box 2, weight 26.2kgs.  The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 30.42.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8 lengths.  Secretary Bird was cleared.

Dukestar trialled over the 525 metre distance from box 3, weight 29.3kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 30.42. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5 lengths.  Dukestar was cleared.

Dewana Be Sharp trialled over the 525 metre distance from box 8, weight 28.0kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 30.42.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.75 lengths.  Dewana Be Sharp was cleared.
