A pre-race sample was taken from Betta Bale.
Sisco Sizzle, Oshkosh Gypsy and Jacey Allen were quick to begin. Flying Mia checked off Betta Bale soon after the start. Shima Rainbow and Fay Courage collided soon after the start. Oshkosh Gypsy and Victor Dora collided approaching the first turn. Victor Dora and Shima Rainbow collided on the first turn. Oshkosh Gypsy checked off Jacey Allen on the second turn checking Victor Dora, Shima Rainbow and Fay Courage. Oshkosh Gypsy and Fay Courage collided entering the back straight checking Oshkosh Gypsy, Flying Mia, Victor Dora, Shima Rainbow and Betta Bale. Victor Dora checked off Shima Rainbow on the third turn. Sisco Sizzle and Jacey Allen collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
