Steward's Report
Mr. K. Quinn, trainer of Kilty's Tiger declared a new weight of 31.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Slipaway Anna last raced at 30.3kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Little Horey's.
Kilty's Tiger was slow to begin. Molly Walker and Dark Tantra collided soon after the start checking Dark Tantra. Little Horey's, Molly Walker and Swift Jewel collided approaching the first turn. Swift Jewel and High Success collided on the first turn checking High Success and Fiery Nell. Little Horey's and Fiery Nell collided on the first turn severely checking Fiery Nell. Kilty's Tiger, Dark Tantra and Little Horey's collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Kilty's Tiger and Dark Tantra collided on the home turn. Furious Jack and Dark Tantra collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post checking Dark Tantra.
Fiery Nell was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
