Winter Blues, Tredgar and Slipaway Anna collided on the first turn checking Slipaway Anna. Slipaway Anna, Djarragun, Paul Stealer and Mistel Allen collided on the first turn. Djarragun checked off Sootette approaching the home turn and raced wide as a result. Djarragun and Paul Stealer collided approaching the home turn causing Paul Stealer to race wide.
