Maximum Maddy and Ya There Joe were quick to begin. Uncontrollable and Star's Big Boy collided soon after the start. Next Grange, Maximum Maddy and Little Mix collided on the first turn checking Maximum Maddy and Little Mix. Star's Big Boy and Carlanna Lois collided on the first turn severely checking Star's Big Boy. Specify, Maximum Maddy and Carlanna Lois collided approaching the home turn causing Carlanna Lois to race wide. Specify and Maximum Maddy collided on the home turn checking Maximum Maddy.
Uncontrollable was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right deltoid muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Star's Big Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left quadriceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
