Dyna Famin was vetted prior to the event and cleared to race.
Dyna Famin and Hahn Allen were quick to begin. Jam Tee was slow to begin. Bally Bessie checked off Dyna Famin soon after the start. Dyna Elvis, Nine Hours and Always Whistling collided approaching the first turn severely checking Nine Hours and Jam Tee and causing both greyhounds to stumble as a result. Dyna Elvis and Always Whistling collided approaching the first turn checking Always Whistling which pulled up as a result.
Nine Hours was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Always Whistling was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left hock. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
