Flachez was quick to begin. Bally Sleek and Whodat Knockin' were slow to begin. Gilbert Allen and Up There Herbie collided soon after the start checking Gilbert Allen, Inline Allen and Bally Sleek. Whodat Knockin' and Ping King collided approaching the first turn checking Ping King. Dicky and Up There Herbie collided approaching the first turn checking Dicky. Whodat Knockin', Up There Herbie and Flachez collided on the first turn checking Up There Herbie. Dicky, Ping King and Up There Herbie collided approaching the home turn checking Up There Herbie and severely checking Ping King which stumbled as a result. Inline Allen raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
