Thunder Hawk, Loch Roman, Sahara and Kansas Bale were slow to begin. Thunder Hawk, Zanpa Bale and Dark Obsession collided soon after the start checking Dark Obsession. Louisiana Lil and Zanpa Bale collided on the first turn. Loch Roman, Thunder Hawk and Kansas Bale collided on the first turn. Loch Roman and Kansas Bale collided on the second turn. Dark Obsession and Kansas Bale collided in the back straight. Louisiana Lil and Zanpa Bale collided approaching the home turn. Loch Roman and Dark Obsession collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Sahara checked off Kansas Bale on the home turn. Thunder Hawk galloped on Sahara on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.
