Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms K. Heinrich, representative of the greyhound Ousai Bale regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Ousai Bale last raced on 21 December 2014. Ms Heinrich stated that the greyhound has been recovering from a fractured scapula. Stewards noted Ms.Heinrich's comments.
Galahad was slow to begin. Tiggerlong Katut and Ousai Bale collided soon after the start checking Ousai Bale. Tiggerlong Katut, Fearsome Mint and Dyna Malaise collided on the first turn checking Tiggerlong Katut, Fearsome Mint and Fury Bale. Fearsome Mint and Fury Bale collided approaching the home turn. Ousai Bale and Fearsome Mint collided several times in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Ousai Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
