Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs J Sharp, representative of Maximum Chez in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races. Maximum Chez last raced on the 2nd May 2015. Mr Cooper stated that Maximum Chez was returning to race after illness (tonsilitis). Stewards noted Mrs. Sharp's explanation.
Mrs. J. Sharp, handler of Maximum Chez declared a new weight of 28.1 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Maximum Chez last raced at 26.6 kg.
Wez Gordy was quick to begin. Seabrook Snow, Kian's Hybrid and Advice Aplenty collided soon after the start checking Kian's Hybrid. Roadie checked off No Jockey Needed approaching the first turn. No Jockey Needed crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Morson Senor and severley checking Maximum Chez. Maximum Chez and Kian's Hybrid collided approaching the home turn severely checking Maximum Chez and Advice Aplenty which raced wide as a result. Maximum Chez raced wide in the home straight.
Maximum Chez was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
