She's Dee Rocket was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial spike wounds to the left fore and hind feet.  No stand down period was imposed.

Dark Jameson and Ultima Bale were slow to begin.  Duomo Bale and Acola Rosebud collided soon after the start, and again approaching the first turn, checking Avola Rosebud.  Premier Hawk and Lambda Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Avola Rosebud and Bejay The Dejay collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Ultima Bale, Ibrox Digger and Dark Jameson collided on the first turn, checking Ibrox Digger and Dark Jameson.  Premier Hawk checked Duomo Bale on the home turn.  Premier Hawk and Ibrox Digger collided on the home turn, and again entering the home straight.  Bejay The Dejay checked off Dark Jameson in the home straight.

Ultima Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut to the right ear, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Punk Panther and Dyna Alchemist were slow to begin.  Roman Baroque, Xtreme Knocka and Morello collided approaching the first turn.  Xtreme Knocka, Morello and Motangi collided on the first turn, checking Xtreme Knocka, Morello and Punk Panther.  Roman Baroque and Punk Panther collided approaching the home turn.

Call Me Shelby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left foreleg, a strain to the left triceps, a broken left dew claw and superficial spike wounds to the right hock, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Warrior King was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Zipping Simmo was slow to begin.  Zipping Tazz and Zipping Chrystal collided soon after the start.  Houso galloped on the heels of Dr. Klaas approaching the first turn, checking Dr. Klaas, Zipping Simmo and Houso.  Kaptain Tyne and Zipping Tazz collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Tazz and Roll 'Em Maggie collided on the first turn.  Zipping Simmo, Dr. Klaas, Kaptain Tyne and Houso collided on the first turn, checking Zipping Simmo, Kaptain Tyne and Houso.  Zipping Simmo and Dr. Klaas collided on the home turn.

Crackerjack Bill was quick to begin.  Smashing Wild and Magic Buddie were slow to begin.  Smashing Wild and Tat Molly collided approaching the first turn, checking Smashing Wild.  Magic Buddie checked off Bullboar approaching the first turn.  Roll 'Em Zac and Tat Molly collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Magic Buddie checked off Bullboar on the first turn and collided with Smashing Wild, checking Smashing Wild.  Magic Buddie and Hanify's Jaxon collided on the home turn.

Hanify's Jaxon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr W McMahon, the trainer of Hanify's Jaxon regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Draper Bale.

Kosmikos, Draper Bale and Northern Ghost collided soon after the start, checking Northern Ghost.  Electro Bale and Who Told Lindylu collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Who Told Lindylu, Benson, Kosmikos, Draper Bale and Northern Ghost.   Better Beware checked off Who Told Lindylu approaching the home turn.  Better Beware, Benson and Draper Bale collided on the home turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Draper Bale marred the running of Better Beware in the home straight, checking Better Beware.

Draper Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr B Shillington, the handler of the greyhound Draper Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Draper Bale with marring. Mr B Shillington pleaded guilty to the charge, Draper Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
