Steward's Report
Track Curator Mr.H.Brodie advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on 29.8.2016.
Stewards spoke to Mr.D.Brennan, the trainer of Miss Popularity regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Popularity last raced on May 11th 2016. Mr.Brennan stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following injury to the right hock after which time it became seasonal.
Cordite Extra and Cudgee's Myla were slow to begin. Cordite Extra and Jody Baxter collided soon after the start, checking Cordite Extra. Bush Princess checked off Bushman's Luck approaching the first turn. Cordite Extra and Brexit collided on the first turn. Bush Destroyer, Brexit and Cordite Extra collided approaching the home turn, checking Brexit and Cordite Extra. Brexit and Cudgee's Myla collided approaching the home turn, checking Brexit. Brexit raced wide on the home turn. Bush Destroyer and Cudgee's Myla collided in the home straight.
