A pre race sample was taken from Robyn's Boy.

Kibosh and Suspicious Joe were quick to begin. Robyn's Boy, Djarragun and Miss Gracie collided soon after the start, checking Djarragun. Robyn's Boy and Miss Gracie collided approaching the first turn, checking Robyn's Boy. Kibosh checked off Suspicious Joe on the first turn, checking Cowboy Love, and severely checking Miss Gracie. Robyn's Boy checked off Kibosh approaching the home turn. Djarragun checked off Robyn's Boy approaching the home turn. Kibosh and Suspicious Joe collided in the home straight. Kibosh eased approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Kruisselbrink, the trainer of the greyhound Kibosh regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Kibosh was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle and an abrasion to the right leg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Kibosh with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Kruisselbrink pleaded guilty to the charge, Kibosh was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
