A pre-race sample was taken from Shakey Jet.
Bound For Alice was quick to begin. Tinaka was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Tango Princess turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event. Aston Quich and Queen Elsa collided soon after the start causing Queen Elsa and Dr. Watson to collide. Shakey Jake galloped on the heels of Bound For Alice approaching the home turn checking Bound For Alice, Shakey Jake, Aston Quich and Dr. Watson; Aston Quich raced wide as a result. Bound For Alice and Dr. Watson collided several times in the home straight.
Tango Princess was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards established that Tango Princess turned in the boxes. Acting under GAR 52(1), Tango Princess was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).
