Steward's Report
Mr. R. Whitford was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers / registration card was produced for the greyhound Onto Jatt, pursuant to GAR 33.
Emi's Boy Macca and Ninetymile Ace were slow to begin. Zahra Bella crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Buckle Up Jem and Onto Jatt. Emi's Boy Macca galloped on the heels of Squeaky Gate on the first turn checking Emi's Boy Macca and India Pale and causing Squeaky Gate to fall.
Squeaky Gate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Zahra Bella, the winner of the event.

Satisfactory Trial Results
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Trotman, the trainer of Misty Sannette regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Misty Sannette last raced on 28th December 2016. Mr. Trotman stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season and a right hock injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Misty Sannette trialled over the 460 metre distance from box 1, weight 27.9kgs. The greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 26.23. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75 lengths. Misty Sannette was cleared.
