Blue Alcatraz, Why Not Barrel and Indi Allen collided soon after the start. Blue Alcatraz checked off Addictive Bryce on the first turn and collided with Indi Allen and Aqua Dragon. Why Not Barrell and Indi Allen collided on the first turn. Blue Alcatraz and Aqua Dragon collided entering the front straight. Blue Alcatraz checked off Hashtag Selfie entering the front straight causing Why Not Barrel to race wide. Kirabilli Myrtle and Aqua Dragon collided in the home straight.
Kirabilli Myrtle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind pencil injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
