Resident Djay and Carve were slow to begin.

Arabella Figg crossed in soon after the start checking Resident Djay and causing Audacious Angel to fall.  Vancouver Star raced wide on the first turn checking Arabella Figg.  Resident Djay checked off Carve on the first turn.  Resident Djay raced wide in the back straight.  Arabella Figg checked off Elusive Jewel on the home turn.  

Audacious Angel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Blue Alcatraz, Why Not Barrel and Indi Allen collided soon after the start.  Blue Alcatraz checked off Addictive Bryce on the first turn and collided with Indi Allen and Aqua Dragon.  Why Not Barrell and Indi Allen collided on the first turn.  Blue Alcatraz and Aqua Dragon collided entering the front straight.  Blue Alcatraz checked off Hashtag Selfie entering the front straight causing Why Not Barrel to race wide.  Kirabilli Myrtle and Aqua Dragon collided in the home straight.  

Kirabilli Myrtle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind pencil injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Adam Handler, Lektra Uncut and Elite Enfield collided soon after the start.  Liam and Adam Handler collided approaching the first turn.  Mepunga Treasure and Lady Torah collided on the first turn.  Adam Handler and Elite Enfield collided approaching the second turn.  Lektra Uncut and Mepunga Treasure collided approaching the second turn.  Lady Torah checked off Elite Enfield entering the back straight.  Liam and Paua To Roar collided entering the home straight.

Greysynd Emma, Absolute Power, Shake "Em Off and Tuxedo Black collided soon after the start checking Absolute Power.  Shake 'Em Off and Tuxedo Black collided on the first turn.  Yanong crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Magic Ambush.  Greysynd Emma and Absolute Power collided approaching the second turn.  Norm The Storm checked off Yanong approaching the second turn checking Tuxedo Black.  Norn The Storm and Shake "Em Off collided entering the back straight checking Shake "Em Off and Tuxedo Black.  Quizzical and Magic Ambush collided entering the home straight checking Quizzical and Norn The Storm.  Norm The Storm and Yanong collided approaching the winning post.

Bobby Bound was slow to begin.

City Rambler and Miss Bo Wicked collided approaching the first turn. City Rambler and Bobby Bound collided on the first turn.  City Rambler checked off Come On Fantasy approaching the fourth turn.  Come On Fantasy checked off Chrichton Bale in the home straight.

Lochinvar Kors and Big Barking Bert collided soon after the start.  Big Barking Bert, Repelo Muggletum and Angel Ice collided approaching the first turn.  Big Barking Bert and Repelo Muggletum collided on the first turn checking Big Barking Bert.  Lochinvar Kors raced wide on the first turn checking Repelo Muggletum.  Astrology and Mepunga Joffa collided on the first turn.  Angel ice and Paua To Avoid collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Trip To Eden, Astrology and Repelo Muggletum collided entering the back straight checking Repelo Muggletum and Astrology.  Angel Ice clipped the heels of Paua To Avoid on the third turn checking Angel Ice and Big Barking Bert.  Angel Ice and Repelo Muggletum collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Segovia was slow to begin.

Bracket Creep crossed outside soon after the start and collided with Mo keeping and Mafalda Hopkirk.  Mo keeping, Mafalda Hopkirk, Mighty Matlock and In Dee Genes collided on the first turn checking Mafalda Hopkirk and Billy Keeping, Mo Keeping contacted the running rail.  Segovia raced wide on the first turn.  Billy Keeping and Segovia collided in the back straight.  Billy Keeping and In Dee Genes collided on the third turn.  Segovia marred the running of Mo Keeping in the home straight checking Mo Keeping and Mafalda Hopkirk.

Segovia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Thompson the trainer of the greyhound Segovia regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Segovia with marring.  Mr J. Thompson pleaded guilty to the charge, Segovia was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
