Slow As Pat crossed in soon after the start checking Black Bing and Red Norm. Fitzy and Slow As Pat collided approaching the first turn checking Slow As Pat. Fitzy brushed the running rail on the first turn checking Burn Notice. Red Norm galloped on the heels of Slow As Pat on the first turn checking Slow As Pat. Shopping Girl and Black Bing collided on the home turn checking Black Bing.
Slow As Pat was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
