Steward's Report
Mr D.Curtain, trainer of Pure Glory redeclared a new weight of 27.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Pure Glory last raced at 26.1kg.
Starbright and Mumbles Murray were slow to begin. Two Forty Volt and All Inn Jack collided approaching the first turn, checking Two Forty Volt. Two Forty Volt checked off Heleray Jarda on the first turn. Penny's For Me and Heleray Jarda collided on the first turn, checking Penny's For Me, Heleray Jarda, Pure Glory and Two Forty Volt. Starbright faltered on the first turn and tailed off. Katunga Time and All Inn Jack collided on the first turn, home turn and again in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
Starbright was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
