Wolfpack was slow to begin. Charlie Pearce and Proven Scary collided soon after the start. Zoe and Kraken Brad collided approaching the first turn, checking Kraken Brad who fell as a result. Wolfpack checked off Charlie Pearce approaching the first turn. Wolfpack and Riverside Deb collided on the first turn, checking Wolfpack. Proven Scary and All Courage collided on the first turn.
A sample was taken from To The Galo's - the winner of the event, and All Courage - second placed in the event.
Kraken Brad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the neck, a right forelimb strain, and an injured left thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Wolfpack was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
