A sample was taken from Beejay's Lass - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr P Donohue, the trainer of Jaimandy Bonnie after noting the greyhound had not raced for over 3 months. Mr Donohue stated that the greyhound had been recovering from an injury. 

Bruzzy Boucheau and Karaoke Ken collided soon after the start.  Fine Future, Little Leesey and Miss Kadia collided approaching the first turn.  Flying Opal and Jaimandy Bonnie collided approaching the first turn.  Little Leesey checked off Miss Kadia on the first turn, severely checking Little Leesey and Bruzzy Boucheau.  Bruzzy Boucheau and Flying Opal collided on the first turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr G Glass, the trainer of King Norris after noting the greyhound had not raced for over 3 months. Mr Glass stated that the greyhound had been recovering from an injury.

Redfern and Hydra were slow to begin.  Reflected Glory and Hydra collided soon after the start, checking Reflected Glory.  Snow Hawke and All Inn Bundy collided approaching the first turn.  Hilldene Dancer and All Inn Bundy collided on the first turn, checking Hilldene Dancer.  Reflected Glory checked off All Inn Bundy on the home turn.  Hydra and Little Pattie collided in the home straight.  Snow Hawke and Little Pattie collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr W Alley the handler of Mississippi Girl after noting the greyhound had not raced for over 3 months. Mr Alley stated that the greyhound is a new addition to the kennels, previously trainer in NSW. 

Surfing Minnie and Coota's Cazaly were quick to begin.  Finchy and Startin To Shake were slow to begin.  Fancy Assassin and Finchy collided approaching the first turn.  Mississippi Girl and Adamant collided approaching the first turn, checking Mississippi Girl, Finchy, Tungawonga and Surfing Minnie.

Wolfpack was slow to begin.  Charlie Pearce and Proven Scary collided soon after the start.  Zoe and Kraken Brad collided approaching the first turn, checking Kraken Brad who fell as a result.  Wolfpack checked off Charlie Pearce approaching the first turn.  Wolfpack and Riverside Deb collided on the first turn, checking Wolfpack.  Proven Scary and All Courage collided on the first turn.

A sample was taken from To The Galo's - the winner of the event, and All Courage - second placed in the event.

Kraken Brad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the neck, a right forelimb strain, and an injured left thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Wolfpack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Proven Kodiak was slow to begin.  Minute River, Oriental Tsunami and Proven Kodiak collided approaching the first turn.  Minute River and Elbow Room collided on the first turn.  Elbow Room and Proven Kodiak collided on the home turn.  Minute River and Elbow Room collided in the home straight.

Samples were taken from the placegetters of the event - Disco Rain (1st), Aston Gatum (2nd) and Soda Lad (3rd).

Miss Suzie Que and Cosmic Lily were quick to begin.  Jodie's Knee, Proven Chops and Kraken Flash were slow to begin.  Proven Chops and Jodie's Knee collided approaching the first turn, causing Jodie's Knee to contact the running rail and lose ground as a result.  Proven Chops and Kraken Conan collided on the first turn.  Dime and Proven Chops collided on the home turn.

Samples were taken from the placegetters of the event - Miss Suzie Que (1st), Daphne's Party (2nd) and Cosmic Lily (3rd).

Jodie's Knee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a strained left thigh and left pencil muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards noted there was a breach of kennel security during the sample procedure for Cosmic Lily. Mr D Fisher, the trainer of the greyhound was advised of the incident and the sample was taken.

Dyna Lemmy was a late scratching at 6.06pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37 (Fleas)). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Reckless Brown was quick to begin.  Le Luca and Fury Bale collided soon after the start.  All Inn Troy and Miss Cersei collided approaching the first turn, checking All Inn Troy.  Le Luca and Fury Bale collided on the first turn.  Lord Diamond checked off Mr. Fox on the home turn.

Mr G Campbell, trainer of Cee Ronaldo declared a new weight of 32.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cee Ronaldo last raced at 30.7Kgs.
