Stewards spoke to Mr. P Fulton trainer of Just Angus as the greyhound had not started since 26 February 2015. Mr Fulton stated that the greyhound had a toe removed from the left back foot.
Ma Ma Keogh was quick to begin. Just Angus, Crackerjack Cam and Glenville James collided soon after the start, Thomeli Tiger, Glenville James and Ma Ma Keogh collided soon after the start, checking Glenville James. Thomeli Tiger brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Thomeli Tiger galloped on the heels of Gangalla Lodge on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Ma Ma Keogh and Gangalla Lodge collided approaching the home turn. Ma Ma Keogh and Crackerjack Cam collided on the home turn. Ma Ma Keogh and Gangalla Lodge collided entering the home straight.Both Just Angus and Crackerjack Cam raced wide approaching the winning post.
