Jolly Beggarman and Oh Lele Simon were slow to begin.  Wino Waves and Yon Bonnie Brae collided soon after the start.  Dubai Diamond brushed the running rail soon after the start.  Dubai Diamond and Wino Waves collided approaching the first turn checking Wino Waves; Wino Waves contacted the running rail as a result.  Yon Bonnie Brae checked off Oh Lele Simon on the first turn.  Gandolf Bale and Perry White collided several times from the first turn to the second turn.  Jolly Beggarman and Wino Waves collided on the second turn.  Dubai Diamond checked off Yon Bonnie Brae in the back straight.  Perry White eased approaching the third turn causing Gandolf Bale to fall.

Gandolf Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left wrist and minor grazing.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Perry White was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 3, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Bartlett, the trainer of the greyhound Perry White regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the third turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Perry White with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Bartlett pleaded Not Guilty to the charge.  Perry White was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR (A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Harrier Bale and Crafty Diamond were slow to begin.  Harkonen Bale and Charging In collided soon after the start.  Harrier Bale and Crafty Diamond collided soon after the start.  Furious Barb and Charging In collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Murderous checked off Harkonen Bale approaching the first turn checked Francol, Charging In, Jodiels, Crafty Diamond and Harrier Bale; Crafty Diamond and Jodiels raced wide as a result.  Harrier Bale contacted the running rail approaching the second turn.  Francol and Miss Murderous collided approaching the second turn.  Miss Murderous checked off Francol entering the back straight.  Charging In galloped on the heels of Miss Murderous on the third turn checking Miss Murderous.

Harrier Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left front sesamoid.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

City Rambler was quick to begin.  Turfman and Someday Lady were slow to begin.  Rudianos and Flying Bekim collided soon after the start.  Flying Bekim and Turfman collided soon after the start.  Rudianos and Miss Betsy collided on the first turn.  Amaroo Madusa and Prue Jay collided on the first turn checking Rudianos, Miss Betsy, Flying Bekim and Amaroo Madusa; Flying Bekim raced wide as a result.  Prue Jay, Turfman and Someday Lady collided approaching the second turn checking Flying Bekim.  Prue Jay and Someday Lady collided on the second turn.  Flying Bekim and Turfman collided entering the back straight.  City Rambler crossed to the outside in the back straight checking Miss Betsy.  Turfman checked off Flying Bekim approaching the third turn.

Corrine was quick to begin.  Bubble Which was slow to begin.  Go Go Danni, Wildcard Lad and Princess Gemini collided soon after the start.  Corrine, Aston Dareh and In A Daze collided soon after the start checking In A Daze.  Aston Dareh and Corrine collided on the first turn.  Go Go Danni and Bubble Which collided on the first turn.  Peregrin Stealth crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Corrine and Aston Dareh.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Aston Dareh became dislodged in the home straight.

Decanus was slow to begin.  Peggy Sable and Classic Nitro collided soon after the start checking Classic Nitro.  Speedy Carerro and Yazz collided soon after the start.  Peggy Sable, Sonic Fantasy and Speedy Carerro collided approaching the first turn checking Peggy Sable and Classic Nitro, severely checking Yazz and causing Decanus to stumble and lose considerable ground; Sonic Fantasy and Speedy Carerro fell as a result.

Sonic Fantasy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to its right calf.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Speedy Carerro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to both its hind legs.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Yazz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to its left fore leg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Decanus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right triangle and left shoulder.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Aqua Vitae, the winner of the event. 

Bolt On was quick to begin.  Skip's Nightmare and Evers Bale were slow to begin.  Capullo Bale checked off Wealthy Schooner soon after the start.  Bolt On, Allen Icarus, Pappa Gallo and Wealthy Schooner collided approaching the first turn checking Bolt On and Pappa Gallo.  Skip's Nightmare, Capullo Bale, Evers Bale and Wealthy Schooner collided on the first turn causing Wealthy Schooner to race wide.  Capullo Bale and Skip's Nightmare collided on the second turn.  Explosive Angel checked off Allen Icarus in the back straight.  Skip's Nightmare checked off Capullo Bale on the third turn.

A sample was taken from Pappa Gallo, the winner of the event.

Venom's Lad was slow to begin.  Zipping Scarlet checked off Quaker Bale approaching the first turn.  Henry Garth checked off Quaker Bale on the first turn checking Henry Garth and causing Zipping Scarlet to race wide.  Quaker Bale checked off Venom's Lad on the second turn.  Why Not Franklin and Natural Oak collided on the second turn checking Why Not Franklin.

Quaker Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to its left hind leg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.

Sonic Pirate was quick to begin.  Allen Malik was slow to begin.  Louie Neveelk and Allen Malik collided soon after the start.  Jagman and Allen Malik collided approaching the first turn.  Peloton Bale, Louie Neveelk and Sonic Fury collided on the first turn checking Peloton Bale, Louie Neveelk and Allen Malik and severely checking Jagman and Sonic Fury.  Peloton Bale and Louie Neveelk collided approaching the second turn checking Peloton Bale.  Sonic Pirate and Nifty Neveelk collided on the second turn checking Nifty Neveelk.  Allen Malik checked off Louie Neveelk in the back straight.  Nifty Neveelk checked off Sonic Pirate in the home straight.

Sonic Fury was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right triangle and minor wounds to its right front and right hind legs.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Renee Boucheau was a late scratching at 6:14pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. W. Craig was fined the sum of $100.

Bob's Gift was quick to begin.  She's Fullboar and Zavalla were slow to begin.  She's Fullboar and Isla Rose collided on the first turn checking She's Fullboar, Tekki Breeze and Zavalla.  She's Fullboar and Tekki Breeze collided entering the home straight.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Ibrox Digger and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 6:14pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. S. Clarke was fined the sum of $100.

Izabella's Gift was quick to begin.  Lites And Sirens and Daintree Sugar were slow to begin.  Classy Boy and Kosi Can collided soon after the start.  Izabella's Gift and Call Me Scary collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds; Call Me Scary raced wide as a result.  Classy Boy and Nelirian collided on the second turn checking Nelirian.  Lites And Sirens, Call Me Scary and Daintree Sugar collided on the third turn checking Daintree Sugar.

Kynan's Magic, Hard Urned Burst and Neliel Bale were slow to begin.  Twistex galloped on the heels of Neliel Bale approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Kynan's Magic, Neliel Bale and Twistex.  Kanga Kel checked off Hard Urned Burst on the home turn.  Twistex, Hot Carbon and Neliel Bale collided entering the home straight checking Twistex and Hot Carbon.

Hot Carbon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mint Burst and Fairy Tiger were slow to begin.  Loyal Miss and Shazmal collided approaching the first turn checking Shazmal.  Shazmal and Virtue collided on the first turn checking Shazmal.  Plea For Beer and Loyal Miss collided on the first turn checking Mint Burst, Shazmal and Virtue and severely checking Plea For Beer and Loyal Miss; Virtue raced wide as a result.  Cosmic Shiraz cramped over the concluding stages of the event.

Shazmal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to its left hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Shiraz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramping.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R Colpoy, the representative of the greyhound Cosmic Shiraz.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71(Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
