Krazy Kanga was quick to begin. Kasreyn was slow to begin. Militant Chief, Rosette, Lorimer Lad and Lonnie Lad collided soon after the start. Militant Chief, Rosette, Onya Sami and Blazing Spirit collided approaching the first turn. Militant Chief, Rosette and Onya Sami collided on the first turn. Krazy Kanga and Lorimer Lad collided on the first turn, severely checking Krazy Kanga which collided with Lonnie Lad. Militant Chief, Rosette and Blazing Spirit collided approaching the home turn checking Rosette. Rosette and Onya Sami collided entering the home straight.
Krazy Kanga was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
